Reducing Stress, Anxiety & Depression
Manage Your Mind Online Sessions
We are incredibly resilient as human beings – and have an inbuilt ability to heal ourselves, to strengthen ourselves and to effectively manage any crisis we may face. The Manage Your Mind Online Self Learning Programme for NHS Healthcare Professionals gives us an opportunity to invest in ourselves, to rest, re-centre, refocus and to re-energise, all in the comfort of our own homes.
The principles and content of the online programme are similar to those of the face to face programme
You Will Learn
1. Breathing practices (5-15 min./day) that you can use anytime to relax, restore energy, or to help you sleep. These are a powerful primer for meditation.
2. SKY Breathing Meditation (10 min./day). A unique, breath-based technique that allows the mind to settle and brings about a deep state of relaxation.
3. Effortless Deep Meditation technique (20 min.) An ancient tried and tested method that automatically and effortlessly transcends the busy mind. Quickly master deep meditation without using effort, monitoring or control.
4. Mindfulness Mind Management (apply when desired). On the workshop you will gain insights into tendencies of the mind to help you consciously re-frame perspectives to greater positivity and improved self-care boundary setting. These conscious efforts are far easier and more productive after the practices have established greater calm and awareness in the mind.
After completing the structured online programme, you will need to schedule a live online session with a certified instructor. These take place every week and last approximately 90 minutes. They give you an opportunity to practice the breathing exercises you have learned and to discuss any challenges you may be facing.
After you have completed the online structured programme and attended a live online session with a certified instructor, you can access our online Web Application (add link to MYM Web app page) that provides you with online support and guidance so you can continue to practice the breathing exercises at home.
